The Production Line

These busbars are finished with a black powder coating. This product is designed to withstand heavy mechanical vibration, which makes them ideal for large electric vehicles like the buses they will eventually be used on.

These busbars are copper which is corrosion resistant but the powder coating will give it an extra durable coating whilst giving it a good insulation rating. A black coating is ideal for a high voltage busbar of this size as it improves emissivity.

These parts have been laser cut and pressed and are ready for despatch as part of a high-volume order. They’re part of a full fabrication service we’re carrying out for a customer in automotive manufacturing. Once delivered, they’ll be used on a fleet of state-of-the-art electric buses.

We're always looking to improve our services. Our machinery logistics provider Merrits have been removing the Trumatic Punch to increase our welding capability. This will also give us a larger fabrication area for bulkier items.

Our machinery logistics provider Merrits have been removing our old guillotine today. The newfound space will be used to expand our painting process with a new line of wet sprayers. We will now be able to offer this service alongside our powder coating stations completing our offering.
